Wow, I can't believe that I'm actually starting my own "fatshion" blog! I've always loved fashion, and for the sake of time, will save my long journey into fashion for another post. What's so funny is that I've been taking photographs of myself for nearly a week now, or at least my husband has, and I've deleted all of the pics, except for the ones that I took today. Honestly, I don't like taking pictures. I've always disliked photos of myself, but I'm going to give this a go and try to upload an outfit each day and give my opinion on plus sized fashions. So, let's get started.
This outfit is very interesting. Most of the pieces I've had for some time now and the vendor probably doesn't carry anymore, but I will still share where I purchased the items. I was online a few months back and saw that animal prints are like the new hotness for the fall. So, I headed out to my local stores and did a little browsing. What did I stumble upon, this leopard print dress, yes dress, that is SO versatile. I purchased the dress at a shop in the mall called Simply Fashion. The store happened to be going out of business and I got the dress for $7. WHAT A DEAL!! As you see in the photo, I am wearing the dress as a shirt by simple ruching the front and adding a belt (the ultimate plus size accessory!). Whenever I purchase clothes, they MUST be versatile; I must be able to wear the outfit for several different occasions and several different ways, and this dress definitely helps me to accomplish this. The pants are Right Fit pants from Lane Bryant. The short sleeve white blazer was purchased from Rainbow and the shoes came from the Avenue Online. Well, I think that's it for today. I have to shorten these posts in the future. I didn't realize I had so much to say. :) And remember ladies, look at yourself in the mirror everyday and love yourself a little more each day.
